When I got my dog I had much more freetime, now I have to be out of the house for maybe 6 to 8 hours daily.. I don’t lock him inside the appartment but I keep him in a big balcony with his toys and he has a view to the street… We live in a warm country, so weather is not a problem… My dog is 4 months old…. I don’t feel he gets upset when I go out, but I feel sooooo guilty… I want to know if dogs get bored sitting alone for so long, or do they get used to it?

I have a 5 month old puppy and shes had glaucoma in her left eye for 4 months due to her immunizations. (blue eye) She is on medicine now, and there is a possibility that her eye will eventually be removed. Has anyone had a pet with this before, or know how long it could be to go away? thanks(:
