every time I go to the dentist, there are lots of people who are told that they have to have their teeth pulled. more so if there is silver on that one side. my question is, what happens to all that teeth? are they sold? ground up for pet medicine ? THATS A LOT OF TEETH BEING PULLED. what do they do with them ?
In the office where I work, if the teeth are still mostly intact when extracted, we disinfect them in a cup of bleach and the dentist saves them to take to classes. After that, I guess he throws them away. Not sure; we all joked that he was going to string them on necklaces and give them to us for Christmas presents. Anyway, the teeth that are pretty broken down or gross we just throw away.
They throw them away, Bio-waste
most of them a pitched into the Dumpster or sent to Bio-hazard facility. Some dentists (ones that teach) use to take them to the school for the students to practice on them.
They widdle them into battleships.

im pretty sure they throw them away. dentists wont put it under their pillow & hope for the tooth fairy to come.
