If you were to buy a book about cats, which one would you choose:
1. General Cat Health, Prevention and Diseases
2. Emergency and First Aid for Cat Owners
3. Cat Training and Solutions to Cat Behavior Problems
Or would you prefer to have a book on some other cat subject?

I think there is plenty to read about already regarding the above. I think it would be interesting to find out more about communication between cats and humans – how they communicate to us, attention seeking, and different behaviours and what they mean. That would make for a much more interesting relationship.
These topics are generally together in cat books. I find cat behaviour fascinating. I would also buy a fantasy book in which cats are the protagonists.
I think Emergency and First Aid for Cat Owners.. because my cat doesn’t have behavior problems.. I’m just really worried about my cat when I’m gone I think What’s my cat doing right now? What if there’s a earthquake? What if someone brakes in and injures my cat? You know I think Emergency and First AId for Cat Owners would be the best choice
All of the above with maybe some nice rescue stories or anecdotes for that extra feel good factor
If it’s not a basic cat-care book — of which there’re loads — then I’d like something well-written on cat behaviour studies, related cat behaviour anecdotes, the history of domestic cats…
“The Tribe of Tiger” is a good example of a good cat behaviour book, I think.
“The Nine Emotional Lives of Cats” is also good, but too reliant on the author’s own cats for the theories.
cats look after them selves and apart from the obvious feed em give em water give em a scratch post and make sure they can get to their litter tray, why would you need a book on em??
Sounds pretty good to me. I’d also like to see something around interpreting your cat’s behaviour – different types of miaws, what tail wagging means etc.
All 3, 2 being first choice
I like all three books. I also would like to read about different breeds of cats and their origins.
All of the above.
Sounds good to me and would make a great gift for someone who is getting their first cat.
it’s hard to pick but i’d go for all three.
i love cats so i’d like to know everything about them.
i’ve already got a cat book.
however i do think that the 3rd choice is the best 1 coz that doesn’t have any of the boring stuff in it.
I always want an explanation of behaviours and what your cat is thinking, it is also useful to have some symptoms of common diseases but I wouldn’t buy it if it had simple stuff in, like what equipment to buy when getting a cat etc. So a bit of all of the above really.
Number 3 please!
The best is all 3-in-1 plus additional informations on interior design for cats and with lots of cute and happy kittens and cats photo.
Wow…. I think that must be a very thick book.
how to stop them having a poo on my lawn
definately 3. i think that cat training and behavioural problems are the most important for bring your cat up.
all of the above
TRAINING WOULD DO… COZ. I REALLY FIND IT INTERESTING.
