I have may 12-week-old puppy wearing a flea-collar but he still scratches. I also give him a flea bath about once a week. I’m looking into getting him some gel like “Frontline”. Does it work well? Or is there anything that works better? Must be AFFORDABLE
Check with your vet to see if they have Capstar, it kills all fleas on a dog within 24 hours. Our vet has it and it only costs 5 bucks in our area for one pill(but that’s all that is needed). Plus don’t forget to treat your house, car and yard for fleas. Frontline plus is also a big thing to get for your dog and put it on him once a month for prevention. If you put Frontline on your dog while he has fleas, it will kill the fleas as well. Good Luck!
In my experience, frontline works the best. it kills fleas, flea eggs and larvae, and ticks. not to mention it is waterproof. advantage works well too, but it is not waterproof and does not kill ticks.
