Okay so i have a cat who’s about 5 or 6 yrs old. She goes outside everyday but always comes back home(inside). 3 or 4 days ago i realized that she has been sneezing alot and also coughs but it sort of sounds like a quack.(not funny). and sometimes it seems like shes choking. and now(this just started a few minutes ago) her left eye seems to be watering, it looks like she’s crying. i have never seen this before and im really worried. also i have another cat that stays outside in our fence and it started to do the sneeze/quack thing the same time my other cat did. PLEASE HELP! ASAP!
Since your cat has been outside and since she’s been exposed to the other cat who might be sick, it’s a good likelihood that she’s picked up a virus from the other cat. So both of them are sick. It sounds like an upper respiratory infection, but since I’m not a vet, I can’t be sure. There are other diseases that have the same symptoms, so both of the cats really need to be seen by a vet as soon as possible.
