My pet is Dachshund dog.It was suffering by boils all over the body and by that big patches all over the body appeared and I asked the remedy thro this Question bay.Luckily a vet from Canada advised me to give Backing powder bath after every bath to the dog.I have done in the same way and now all the patches were diappeared and a fine fur appeared on his body with shining. Now another trouble has started with his ears. It is scraching its ears very often and a vax like thing comes from his ears and it smells very badly. When we consulted the vet here, he told us to put some ear drops. But the pet is not allowing us to put the drops. So someone may please advise me what medicine I have to give to cure this problem.

You’ll need to have the vet take a look. It sounds like a very bad ear infection. The dog ears hurt so it may take more than one person to hold him to get the meds in.
your dog has ear mites, you can treat it over the counter or have a vet treat it
The only sure way is to take your pup to the vet to get him checked out. He may have mites or even “just” an ear infection (my girl is prone; she gets an a few squirts with an ear wash, a gentle cleaning with some q-tips, and a squeeze of this yellow antibiotic for ears)
Good luck!
Your pet may have an ear infection.
If it is infected you must find a way to getthe antibiotic drops in the dogs ears until the infection clears up.
Then you should clean the ears every couple of days or so. Just wipe out with a clean soft cloth to get out any dirt and dry up any moisture. Some dogs with long ear flaps have trouble with repeat infections from moisture inside the ear. THe flap prevents it from getting air circulation to dry up the ear. In that case you need to wipe them out several times per day.
It sickens me that people post questions like this when its just sodding OBVIOUS the dog need to be seen by the vet. Why do people get dogs then try to cut corners with cost?
If you had a child screaming with ear ache, who’s ears were leaking wax would you be posting questions in the health section or take the kid to the Dr? I bet you £100 you would go to the Dr because the kid doesn’t have to pay to see your GP or for prescription.
Why are people so irresponsible and darn right stupid? Who in the their right mind would resort to ridiculous DIY home treatment methods for a dog who has a medical problem and clearly is in pain?
If you can’t afford to see a vet then you shouldn’t of got a dog. How would you like rampaging ear ache with discharge, then have some buffoon trying DIY treatments on you. You are risking things like perforated ear drums…. and Eustachian tube damage.
GO TO A D A M N VET! People on here always expect something like this to get answered on here. If you are “worried”, take the dog to a vet. You shouldn’t even be on here asking. Yes, there may be some good vets on here, but they haven’t seen the dog and examined it, they just think of how the dog is. Just take your dog to a vet.
My dog had the same problem of scratching his ears and shaking his head a lot of the time. Two people held him down and I was constantly talking to him as I used a Q-Tip with alochol to clean out his ears. I did this several times a week and now he is ok. If you do this be very careful in his ear cannals. My top advice would be to take him to the vet as soon as possible.
GO…TO…A….VET…
dont try home remmidies as it could just get worse
It’s best to just use the medicine the vet gave you.
My dog hates ear drops as well and runs away from us. But giving them a treat while doing it usually diverts their attention from the ear drops. Or using it after a bath works too. If nothing works well enough for you, you can just ask the vet to use the drops for you.
But it’s best to use the drops the vet suggested or gave you to use.
